Walking alongside parishes in faith, renewal and joy.
Parish Missions form a key part of our apostolate. From one-off retreat days to week-long parish missions, we strive to tailor our missions to the needs of the parish.
Some of these parishes have included multiple churches. In this instance, we tailor the schedule to make sure they are included, insofar as is possible. Depending on the size of the parish and if there are school visits, three to five sisters attend each mission. We can also incorporate into parish missions visits to any sick and housebound parishioners, rosary-making workshops, a Divine Mercy Evening with reconciliation, music, prayer and veneration of the relic of St Faustina and facilitation of/drops ins to various parish groups.
Past week-long missions have included:
“The sisters offered more than just talks— they created a truly immersive and personal journey. Through a thoughtful mix of teaching, slides, and video, they brought key aspects of faith to life in a way that felt both grounded and deeply relevant to the challenges of today’s world.” – a parish mission attendee
“The mission week led by the Community of Our Lady of Walsingham has been milestone in the life of our parish community. We were hoping that their presence and their input would encourage parishioners to engage more enthusiastically in the activities of the parish and in its outreach in the locality. We were not disappointed […] they have galvanised us with their joyful exposition of the teaching of the gospel for which we are truly grateful.” A Parish Priest
