Growing in faith, friendship and the freedom to say “yes”.
We engage in a lot of young adult work as part of our apostolate, from collaborating with university chaplaincies around the country in giving talks and retreat facilitation to hosting young adult weekend retreats at our home in Norfolk.
we work with universities around the country in delivering talks and facilitating retreats, both in person and online. Past topics include: emotional maturity and discernment, growth in prayer, vocation, being called to the fullness of life and the spirituality of Walsingham.
we run regular young adult retreats for those aged 18 – 35. Keep an eye on our website and social media for upcoming events!
our young adult’s group meets on Zoom on the first Friday of each month to explore particular subjects connected to our faith. From growth in holiness and a life of prayer, to discernment and vocation.
over the years our community has accompanied many young people who have gone on to join religious life in a wide variety of orders, get married or discern consecrated virginity. We believe in helping each individual to realise God’s call for them. Need help in your discernment journey? Email us at accompaniment@walsinghamcommunity.org
Single young people are also welcome to join the discerner’s group for our lay branch, as a way of deepening their call to holiness in everyday life. It can also be a stepping stone into a permanent choice down the line e.g. Marriage, priesthood or religious life.
